tnb sues wwf over earth hour. right. tnb. wwf. wtf. right? apparently not. it’s amazing how many people took this waaaaaaaaaaay seriously. come on. so seriously that it came to this?
we’re stumped. we had a good laugh, but others had a good debate instead. suddenly moods became heated, vocabularies turned colorful, and inner greenpeace warriors reared their, um, green terrorist heads. all this despite everyone reading the whole article, which was generously peppered with “serious” stuff like:
“Let’s reverse the order of these pictures this year, and fight for the rights to our lights,” continued Che Khalib. “Let’s unite as 1Malaysia, and tell these green terrorists that we will not go dark! We will not switch off! Let’s tell them that we love our lights! “POWERRR… EXTREME!” he screamed, as powerful clusters of foglamps flooded the conference room with ultra-bright and hot light, temporarily blinding everyone present, and signalling the end of the Press conference.
and we’re pretty darn sure that most of these righteous dudes and dudettes were busy watching american idol reruns or some live soccer match at the said earth hour in the brightly-lit comforts of their air-conditioned homes.
while dancing inmates may not be the latest hot thing, we still think they’ve get a much better grasp of what’s “in” than many. humane rehabilitation might not catch on too quick (’specially not with the bush regime) but we think they might change their minds after seeing how many people they can pluck out of criminal society and throw into the professional dance industry.

most events are usually a long drawn out (and admittedly painful) process that involves much planning and sweating. but they do yield results which we can proudly call our own. there are some hitches that have caught our attention.
as much as we applaud the desire to change (”change” being the new bates141 buzzword) there is a responsibility to properly utilise the digital power that everyone is harping on about.
